With the exhibition ‘Spring in Autumn’, Wencke highlights the transformations in nature that become increasingly noticeable throughout the seasons. It creates various feelings of confusion, but also resourcefulness, resilience, and awe for all that nature brings and gives us. Her paintings show the human figure in relation to nature during this special time.
