From the second half of 2024, several countries internationally will follow the example of the Dutch Masters of Realism and also honor the artists in their country who draw and paint realistically at the highest level with the title Meester van het Realisme / Master of Realism.

Masters of Realism is the honorary title for the most talented and most skilled, experienced and esteemed artists of realistic painting.
In The Netherlands: www.meestersvanhetrealisme.nl. In Belgium: https://mastersofrealism.be/ Artists from other countries than The Netherlands en Belgium can register as candidate Masters on this website. As soon as enough qualified artists in any country have applied to be candidates for Master of Realism, a national section starts with artists residing in that country.
The maximum number of Masters of Realism per country is based on the number of inhabitants, adjusted based on an assumption regarding the number of national artists who paint realistically.
